Alabama Crimson Tide Baseball Transfer Portal Tracker 2024: List of all players who've entered the transfer portal

The Alabama Crimson Tide had a lukewarm season in NCAA baseball this year. They were one of five teams who finished 13-17 in the SEC regular season, ultimately making the postseason through an at-large bid.

Although the team was the second seed in the Tallahassee Regional, they were the first team eliminated from the tournament following losses to the UCF Knights and the Stetson Hatters in quick succession.

During this year's off-season, eight players from the Crimson Tide entered the transfer portal. Here is a look at those eight talents:

Eight Alabama Crimson Tide players entered the transfer portal this year

1. Alton Davis II, Pitcher

Davis decided to leave the baseball program after two incredible seasons on the mound. He made the Freshman All-SEC Team last year and led the SEC with six saves in conference play.

Less than two weeks back, he committed to the Georgia Bulldogs, giving the 1990 College World Series winners' bullpen a reliable closer for next season.

2. Parker Picot, Outfielder

Picot rarely featured in his freshman season, making just three appearances for the Crimson Tide this year. His only hit in three at-bats this season came against the Alabama State Hornets on March 19th and he became the latest player to enter the portal on June 13th.

3. Luke Williams, Outfielder

The redshirt freshman failed to play a single game over two seasons with the Crimson Tide. The Hillcrest High School pass out was the 4th-ranked outfielder from Alabama as per Prep Baseball Report and recorded three home runs, 30 RBIs and 29 stolen bases in his senior season.

4. Camden Hayslip, Outfielder

The junior played just seven games this season, recording a single RBI in 11 at-bats. He was the top-rated outfielder and second overall from Tennessee as per Perfect Game during his high school career and he will be keen to make a mark elsewhere in what could be his final year in college baseball.

5. Jackson Baker, Pitcher

The freshman made just one appearance this season. However, he left quite the impression, recording a scoreless inning in a game against the Valparaiso Beacons on February 24th, which ended 13-3 in favor of Alabama.

6. Evan Haeger, Outfielder

Haeger was the top-ranked outfielder and fifth-ranked prospect in Michigan as per Prep Baseball Report. However, he failed to see any game time in his freshman season with Alabama, entering the portal on June 3rd. Just nine days later, he committed to the Houston Cougars baseball program for his sophomore season.

7. Sammy Leis, Catcher

Leis took a redshirt at the end of last season but failed to see any game time this year. Passing out of Denmark High School in Georgia, he was the third-ranked catcher and No. 48 overall recruit in the state as per Perfect Game USA.

8. Joey Rubin, Infielder

Rubin joined the Crimson Tide in 2023 following two excellent seasons for Rollins College. However, the junior entered the portal on May 25th after failing to represent Alabama throughout the season.
