How did Tennessee and Texas A&M reach the 2024 College World Series?

The Tennessee Vols and the Texas A&M Aggies have enjoyed similar paths to the 2024 College World Series title game.

The Vols had a stellar regular season, qualifying for the NCAA Regionals as the first seed. They then breezed through the postseason with a laser focus and will aim to bring the title home to Tennessee for the first time.

Meanwhile, the Aggies, too, have enjoyed a dream season in 2024. They have not trailed all preseason and have been tied for only six innings. They will make worthy opponents for Tony Vitello's team and are out to spoil the party.
