Clemson Tigers Baseball Transfer Portal Tracker 2024: List of all players who've entered the transfer portal
The Clemson Tigers are having a busy offseason as four players have already entered the college baseball transfer portal. Most of them have made significant contributions during the 2024 season. The Tigers coaching staff, led by incoming third-year coach Erik Bakich, must make their move to fill up the empty spots as the window closes on July 2.
Clemson, who wasted a twice-to-beat edge to Florida in the super regional, aims for a College World Series appearance in the 2025 season. The Tigers can't afford more player losses via the transfer portal if they aspire for a higher seeding in the NCAA Tournament and a CWS ticket next season.
Clemson Tigers players who entered the transfer portal
Nolan Nawrocki, INF
Nawrocki moved out of the Tigers' lair to find a new team that could maximize his potential. The incoming sophomore had a good freshman season for Clemson, hitting 264 with four home runs and 24 RBIs in 36 games.
Nawrocki played as a third baseman and designated hitter this past season and was perfect in 11 base-stealing opportunities.
Nathan Hall, OF
Hall only played 12 games in the 2024 season after appearing in 39 games the previous year. The outfielder hit .227 with three RBIs and four stolen bases this past season.
In two seasons with Clemson, he hit .240 with one home run and 15 RBIs. He had seven stolen bases and scored 12 runs in 51 games for Clemson. On Monday, Hall announced his commitment to play for South Carolina next season.
Billy Barlow, RHP
Barlow had a banner 2024 season for Clemson, earning a 6-1 record in 15 games (10 starts). The right-handed pitcher led the Tigers' pitching staff in wins and struck out 42 batters this past season.
Barlow recorded a 4.28 ERA as he surrendered 50 hits, 29 runs (23 earned) and 20 walks. On Saturday, he announced his transfer to Florida where he will play his remaining two years of eligibility.
Cooper Blauser, INF
The son of former Atlanta Braves player Jeff Blauser has played for 12 games with Clemson and had 29 at-bats with the team. One of Cooper Blauser's three hits was a home run against Xavier on Feb. 16.
He recorded four runs, three RBIs and seven total bases during the season. Multiple reports stated that Blauser, who has three years of eligibility remaining, has decided to explore the transfer portal to find a new team that could maximize his talent next season.
