Florida State stars to watch

James Tibbs III

James Tibbs III has been one of the most significant bats in the Atlantic Coast Conference. He has started in all 64 games throughout the season, with a .366 batting average and a 1.280 OPS.

He has been among the most significant power bats with 28 home runs, 95 RBIs and 73 runs scored. However, he has been a five-tool player as he also has stolen eight bases on nine attempts. Tibbs has been a significant factor in the middle of the lineup. His 56:35 walk-to-strikeout ratio shows his ability to dominate at all times.

Cam Smith

Cam Smith has been doing well in the second spot of the order for the Seminoles. He has a remarkable 104 hits and a .400 batting average. He has 16 home runs and 57 RBIs while also hitting for a team-high 22 doubles.

Smith is also one of the more significant contact bats in the country, as he has 43 walks compared to 46 strikeouts. With his ability to set the table and having James Tibbs III protecting in the order, it will be a challenge to pitch to Smith.
