"A&M just gave Texas middle finger": Fans react to latest Troy Tulowitzki rumors after Michael Earley move
The Texas A&M Aggies lost head coach Jim Schlossnagle to the rival Texas Longhorns. The announcement came less than 24 hours after the Aggies lost 6-5 to the Tennessee Volunteers in a winner-take-all College World Series Finals Game 3.
While it initially appeared that hitting coach Michael Earley would follow him to Texas, those plans changed as the Aggies named him their head coach on Sunday. Kendall Rogers of D1 Baseball tweeted that he expects Troy Tulowitzki to be named the Longhorns hitting coach, stating:
"I am expecting Troy Tulowitzki to now remain on the @TexasBaseball staff as the hitting coach with Michael Earley heading to Texas A&M as the head coach. I'm also expecting one more wild dominoe move in this entire ordeal."

"He should ask for a HUGE bump in pay for being thrown around."
What did Michael Earley say about being named Texas A&M head coach?
Michael Earley reacted to being named the Texas A&M Aggies head coach in a statement released by the program. After receiving his first head coaching opportunity, he stated:
"My family and I couldn't be more excited for this opportunity. Thank you, General Welsh and Trev Alberts for putting your trust in me. Being a part of this University and this program are a dream come true. I will not let you down. See you in Omaha!" [h/t 12thman.com]
Earley will take over a program that has been among the best in the nation. The Aggies fell just short of capturing their first national title in program history in 2024.
