“Lucky to have you” - Drew Beam’s GF Halle Hutchins shares heartfelt sentiments as Vols win CWS title

Drew Beam and the Tennessee Volunteers made history Monday night when they beat the Texas A&M Aggies in the College World Series finals. Wishes for the right-handed pitcher poured in on social media, and even Beam's girlfriend, Hally Hutchins, shared her heartfelt sentiments for the Vols star.

In her Instagram post on Monday, Hutchins shared a series of pictures with herself and Beam at Charles Schwab Field. Hutchins, who wore a customized 'Beam' hat in each photo, captioned the post:

"Tennessee has been so lucky to have you, but so has this Aggie."

Notably, Hutchins attends Texas A&M and is set to graduate from the university next year. Although she was thrilled to see Beam happy and lift the title, a small part of her was reportedly upset that the Aggies missed winning their maiden CWS title.

In a post on X a few days ago, Hutchins clarified her balancing act on supporting Beam and the Aggies, when she wrote:

"I was rooting for Drew Beam all the way today!!! but I have to say, my dad, Jason Hutchins, has worked 26 years for this moment. I would love to take this title home to College Station, TX. Our Aggie team is incredible and filled with the most amazing guys- we are family."

Beam was the cornerstone for the Vols in their comeback during the CWS finals. He started Game 2 of the finals against the Aggies when the Vols were trailing 0-1 in the series.

Beam struck out seven over four frames while allowing three hits, two walks and one run, leading Tennessee to a 4-1 win.

With the series locked at 1-1, the Vols beat the Aggies 6-5 in Game 3 to clinch the national title.
