Texas A&M and Tennessee will duke it out for the national college baseball championship in Game 3 of the College World Series on Monday at Charles Schwab Field in Omaha, Nebraska.

The best-of-three series is tied at one apiece after the Volunteers forced a decider, outclassing the Aggies 4-1 in Game 2 on Sunday. The first pitch is set for 7 p.m. ET, with Zander Sechrist taking the mound for Tennessee. On the other hand, Texas A&M will counter with lefty Justin Lamkin.

WOWT senior chief meteorologist Rusty Lord on Monday warned about the first bout of intense heat in the city. The temperatures will rise above 100 degrees Fahrenheit and will be humid during the afternoon.

Lord also placed a heat advisory all over Omaha as the humid weather would cause the heat index to rise to 110 degrees. Winds coming from the south will bring in gusts of about 30 miles per hour (48 kilometers per hour).

The weather will stay dry with intense heat during Game 3 of the College World Series final with a little chance of rain.


Who is predicted to win the College World Series?

The latest CWS Finals odds put Tennessee as the favorite in terms of moneyline. Those who will bet for the Volunteers are given a -290 moneyline for Game 3, while Texas A&M has a +215 moneyline.

The over/under for this game is 9.5, and the run line is set at Tennessee -2.5 (+108). Tennessee is coming off a 4-1 win in which they needed to score two runs each in the seventh and eighth innings to overcome a 1-0 series deficit and force a decider.

Tennessee is predicted to win Game 3 against Texas A&M and win its first college baseball title, 5-4.
