What teams are left in 2024 College World Series? Looking at NCAA baseball championship resultsĀ

The SEC dominates the 2024 edition of the College World Series, as no ACC school has defeated any southern schools. Two of the ACC schools, NC State and Virginia, have already packed their backs to leave Omaha and return home.

The only schools left from the ACC are Florida State and North Carolina, and one will necessarily be thrown out since they'll face each other in the elimination side of the bracket. The SEC has already secured three spots in the semifinals, with Tennessee and Texas A&M already having secured a spot. The third spot will come out of the winner between Kentucky and Florida on the losing side of the bracket.

As it stands, Tennessee, Texas A&M, Florida, Kentucky, Florida State and North Carolina are the teams left in the tournament. The Volunteers and Aggies have already qualified for the semifinals of the College World Series. Florida and Kentucky will clash for the spot in the semifinal against Texas A&M, while on the other side of the bracket, Florida State and North Carolina battle it out for a semifinal spot against Tennessee.
