Jac Caglianone has been key to the Florida Gators' efforts in this 2024 campaign. The two-way starter has been a great contributor for the Swamp school from both the batter's box (He also plays first base) and the pitcher's mound.
He entered the College World Series with a whopping batting average of .411 with 33 home runs (second in the nation only to Georgia's Charlie Condon) and 68 RBIs.
Caglianone also a part of Florida's starting rotation. His 4.76 ERA might leave something to be desired, but his 5-2 record vindicates him.

Caglianone spoke after Monday's victory with NCAA Digital reporter Michella Chester. Chester asked Jac Caglianone of what has made it possible for the Gators to continue advancing on this 2024 NCAA Baseball Tournament, to which he replied:
"Just fight for each other, its the biggest thing. I didn't have my best stuff up in the mound today but luckily we had Cade Fisher and Clemente and Neely to come out and do their job and really hold it down for us and give us exactly what we needed to get by," Caglianone said.
Caglianone was the Gators' starter on Monday but had to leave after just one inning.
He allowed one hit and one earned run. He also gave up two walks, while facing a rather high seven batters in the opening inning. He had to be relieved by Cade Fisher.
