LSU star Flau'jae Johnson continues to flow this season, as she delivered another all-around game in the 117-44 routing versus Charleston Southern on Tuesday afternoon.
In her 75th career game with the Tigers, the third-year guard needed 18 points to reach 1,000 points in her LSU career. Johnson reached the mark in the fourth frame after dropping a layup on the fastbreak.
Flau'jae Johnson tallied her first double-double of the season, ending with 18 points, 10 rebounds, three assists and one block in 30 minutes of action. She poured 12 points in the third quarter and converted 7-of-15 shots from the field.
Despite the hosts' dominant performance, Johnson and Co. appeared unhappy at the end of the game, as they let the Buccaneers score 16 points, their most in a quarter in the entire game.
"I think we let them score a lot," Johnson said (1:23). "But as a team, I feel like everybody did a good job. Everybody kind of got involved this game."
The star guard continues her hot start for the 2024-25 season, scoring her third 18-point game in November. Johnson tallied 24 points, seven rebounds, two assists and two steals in the 95-36 victory over Northwestern State.
Flau'jae Johnson also produced 25 points, five rebounds, two assists and a steal in the opener against Eastern Kentucky, in a 95-44 win.

Aside from Flau'jae Johnson, senior guard Aneesah Morrow also delivered a stellar performance, displaying a massive double-double with 21 points, 20 rebounds, one assist and one block on 7-of-12 field goal shooting.
Sophomore guard Mikaylah Williams was the leading scorer of the game, finishing with 25 points, six rebounds, four assists and two steals. Jada Richard also produced 11 points and six rebounds, making all four field goal makes, including 3-of-3 from the rainbow area.
Off the bench, Jersey Wolfenbarger, Kailyn Gilbert and Aalyah del Rosario also combined for 33 points, 21 rebounds, nine assists and four steals in 62 combined minutes.
LSU's domination was witnessed by 11,095 spectators at the Maravich Center on Tuesday afternoon. The Buccaneers' 5-0 start wasn't enough to gain early game momentum, as the Tigers finished the first frame with a 24-4 run.
Charleston Southern only scored 35 more points in the next three quarters, while LSU poured 93. The Tigers had 30 more field goals and 10 more makes in the free throw line. The hosts also had a 43-rebound advantage (66 to 23) and made 15 more assists (23 to eight).
LSU hosts the next three games at home, facing Murray State (Friday), Troy (Monday) and Tulane (Nov. 20).
