Hailey Van Lith continued her hot start in the 2024-25 women's college basketball season, producing an all-around effort for TCU in its win over New Orleans on Sunday at the Schollmaier Arena in Fort Worth, Texas.
Van Lith tallied 13 points, 12 rebounds, six assists, one steal and one block in 28 minutes of action for the Horned Frogs, who used a strong start to trample the Privateers, 107-52.
The fifth-year LSU transfer started for TCU and scored her first two points on a layup at the 7:44 mark, giving the Horned Frogs an 8-0 lead. Van Lith made it four in a row after she stole the ball and scored on a layup with 7:07 left in the first period.
The 5-foot-9 guard buried a 3-pointer with 4:38 remaining, giving TCU a 21-4 lead. Van Lith had seven points in the first quarter for the Horned Frogs, who took a 29-14 advantage in the first 10 minutes.
Van Lith didn't score in the second period but diverted her focus on hauling down rebounds and making plays for her teammates. The guard found Madison Conner, who buried a triple for a 53-23 lead with 1:30 left.
She followed it up with another dime for Taylor Bigby, who uncorked a 3-pointer that gave TCU a 56-25 halftime lead.
Van Lith scored six points in the third period to keep the Horned Frogs up, 83-38. Aside from increasing her offensive output, the guard recorded four more assists (two each to Sedona Prince and Donovyn Hunter) in the second half to consolidate TCU's second win in as many games.

One game after combining for 50 points in a 78-41 win over Houston Christian, Hailey Van Lith and Prince recorded double-doubles to propel TCU to a big win over New Orleans.
The 6-foot-7 Prince finished with 17 points, 12 rebounds, one assist and five blocks, while Van Lith provided all-around numbers for the Horned Frogs, who scored at least 24 points in the four quarters while keeping New Orleans to 14 points or less.
Madison Conner had a career night for TCU, scoring 30 points on 9-of-17 shooting from the 3-point line. She had five rebounds, five assists and four steals in 29 minutes.
Taylor Bigby and Donovyn Hunter added 17 and 13 markers, respectively for the Horned Frogs, who shot 48.8% from the field, including 35.6% (16-of-45) from the 3-point line.
TCU dominated New Orleans in rebounds (61-29), assists (28-15), steals (10-9) and blocks (7-0) to complete the rout. The Horned Frogs will aim for their third-straight win as they face Texas State on Wednesday at 7:30 pm ET. ESPN+ will broadcast the game on live television.
