"Lighting strikes twice"- 3x national champ Dawn Staley meets and greets with $350M worth Alex Rodriguez after bumping into "beautiful" Tom Brady

Dawn Staley had a fan-like moment after meeting Tom Brady and Alex Rodriguez during her visit to Paris for the ongoing Olympics. Brady and the former shortstop for the Yankees, Mariners, and Rangers have been at the Olympic venue for some time, serving as an experienced voice for youngsters from different sports and enjoying their time exploring the city.

Staley's latest encounter was with Alex Rodriguez, right around the time when the former baseball star was seen attending Anthony Edwards' birthday party.

"Lightening strikes twice! @AROD #handsomemanmagnet 🤣🤣🤣," Staley wrote in light of her initial catchup with Tom Brady.

Staley landed in Paris last week and unexpectedly rubbed shoulders with Tom Brady on August 4, sparking a candid post of fawning over the legendary NFL player.

"Yall I can not lie to you….don’t you ever ever look directly into @TomBrady eyes……this man is seriously beautiful. And I shook his hand….the Super Bowlssss hand. And the hand was just as gorgeous. Ok I’m done but for real, Staley wrote on X.

Apart from her unplanned rendezvous, Staley got the chance to witness Jordan Chiles' bronze medal routine in the Olympic floor finale which came down to one-tenth of a point difference.

Moreover, she was also seen having fun with her college basketball opponent Tammi Reiss (Virginia women's basketball coach) who was leading the Team USA women's 3x3 roster.

Dawn Staley has a changed narrative on Caitlin Clark’s Team USA candidacy

Caitlin Clark’s omission from the Team USA Olympics roster came as a huge shock to fans. While Clark was not able to replicate her college success early into her WNBA career, the selection committee, which saw Dawn Staley as one of the members, claimed that it specifically targeted experienced big-league players.

Nevertheless, Dawn Staley resonated a newfound backing for Clark’s basketball skills in a late-July interview, citing that she would immediately make the roster had the selection been happening right now.

“If we had to do it all over again, the way that she’s playing, she would be in really high consideration of making the team because she is playing head and shoulders above a lot of people,” she said.

While Clark's scoring has not seen a significant incline since the initial release of the women's roster for Paris, her efficiency has improved. In the last 13 games, Clark has improved to 56.5% overall shooting from 46.4%. Moreover, she is slowly finding her range as she improves to nearly 43% in three-point shooting.
