Most US Olympians by Big Ten schools at the 2024 Olympics in Paris

Over 500 US Olympians are fighting for the gold at the 2024 Paris Olympics, more than any other nation. Among them, more than 100 athletes stem from a connection to a Big Ten program, returning a total of 30 medalists for the global event.

With that, let’s look at all the Big Ten schools that contributed to generating US Olympians for the 2024 Paris Olympics.

USC Trojans - 16 USA athletes in Paris

USC ties with Penn State for 16 athletes from six different sports. Most US Olympians with USC roots will partake in Track & Field (6 athletes). Moreover, the list sees five water polo players, three beach volleyball players and one each for volleyball and swimming.

UCLA - 18 USA athletes in Paris

The UCLA Bruins top the list of US Olympians from the Big Ten conference participating in the Paris Olympics with six water polo athletes, two volleyball players, two table tennis participants and one each for gymnastics, tennis, basketball, rugby, beach volleyball, artistic swimming, soccer and golf.
