Sydney Carter wants to own an affordable fashion line

Sydney Carter had cultivated a reputation of being a fashion savant, known for her bold and unique choices. As she grips on the role of director of player development for Texas, Carter is also eyeing her dream of owning a fashion line. She reflected on it during an interview with xoNECOLE in July.

"I want to have my own fashion line one day," she said. "I want to have my own suit line that's affordable for a lot of coaches that are inspired by my looks, that maybe can't afford some of the things that I wear. I want a very affordable business wear line."
"I want to have my own line that kind of touches everything casual, work out. There's so many things that I want to do because clothing and looking my best is obviously a passion of mine as well. So yeah, I believe I'm gonna have it because I tell myself I'm gonna have it."

Sydney Carter played for Texas A&M from 2008 to 2012. As the team captain and defensive anchor, she led the program to an NCAA championship in her junior year. She was picked 27th overall in the 2012 WNBA draft by the Chicago Sky before she moved to Latvia to continue her professional dreams in 2016.
