WNBA rookie Nika Muhl continues to make a fashion statement in the league with her stylish appearances and Tuesday's fit did not disappoint.

In Game 2 of the WNBA's first-round playoffs, Muhl and Storm lost to the Aces 76-83, tying the series at 1-1 and setting up a decisive Game 3. Forward Gabby Williams scored 20 points and grabbed five rebounds for Seattle while Muhl stayed on the bench for the entire match.

A'ja Wilson, the league's MVP, gave another solid performance, scoring 24 points and making 13 rebounds to help power the Aces.

Paige Bueckers cheers as Nika Muhl scores her first WNBA points

Seattle Storm's Croatian point guard Nika Muhl had to wait fifteen games to finally score her first point last week against the Phoenix Mercury. In the last quarter, she stole the ball and made a transition layup for her first WNBA points.

UConn's senior guard Paige Bueckers could not contain her excitement as her former Huskies teammate scored in the league. She took to X after Muhl made the shot and wrote:

"First bucket twinnnnnnnnnnn 🤩🤩🤩."

Bueckers and Muhl played together at UConn for three seasons. Muhl left Connecticut this summer to join the WNBA. She was in tears when she explained her friendship with teammate Paige Bueckers after the Huskies' Big East championship win in March.

"I'm just so grateful and thankful to the universe that I was able to come across a person like that," Muhl told SNY. "I'm thankful to coach for recruiting us at the same time and bringing us here. That's my best friend, my sister. She's been holding me down since the start."

The Seattle Storm chose Muhl as the 14th pick in this year’s WNBA draft. She played her first game on May 22 and got two rebounds.
