"Best way to spend my birthday": Haley Cavinder poses with BF Jake Ferguson on a boat for her special day

Haley Cavinder and her twin, Hanna, celebrated their birthday on Monday with their significant others. Haley has been dating Dalla Cowboys' Jake Ferguson since September 2023, while Hanna went public with her relationship with former Georgia Bulldogs quarterback Carson Beck during the Fourth of July weekend last year.

The Cavinder twins shared the clips and photos from their birthday celebration on a boat on their Instagram story. In one photo, Haley and Jake were sitting together, and the Miami guard wrote:

Hanna and Haley are playing their final college season with the Miami Hurricanes. After leading the team to the Elite Eight in their senior year, the twins took a break from basketball. They are now back and are hoping to lead the Hurricanes on a similarly successful run.

Meanwhile, Carson Beck transferred to Miami after four years with the Bulldogs. The quarterback had declared for the 2025 NFL draft on Dec. 28. However, after a season of disappointing performances due to injuries, his draft stock took a hit, and he decided to reverse his decision and play his final season with the Canes.

While many assumed he would choose Coral Gables to be closer to Hanna Cavinder, a source denied this to ESPN.

"It's a strategic thing, not an emotional thing," the source said. "He wants to win. He didn't come back to get knocked out at halftime of a conference championship."

Haley Cavinder's season takes a turn with consecutive losses

Haley Cavinder and the Miami Hurricanes had one of the best starts to the season with a seven-game winning streak. After one loss to Vanderbilt, the Hurricanes bounced back and went on to win four games straight.

However, Miami is back in the rut as it endured a four-game losing streak. Haley Cavinder is trying her best, averaging 17.9 points, 7.9 rebounds and 4.8 assists while shooting 46.3% from the floor. The guard had double-doubles in two of the four losses and has been scoring in double figures this entire run.

Cavinder and the Hurricanes have until Friday to figure out their strategy before they face Boston College. Miami has an 11-5 record with 1-4 in the Atlantic Coast Conference.
