“Coolest duo”; “Cuteness overload”: USC fans adore JuJu Watkins’ reunion with her No. 1 fan
USC Trojans star JuJu Watkins had fans gushing over her interaction with a young fan. Watkins was in action as No. 5 Southern California routed Fresno State 89-40 on Tuesday night. She scored 21 points and provided five assists to lead the Trojans to their fifth straight win.
Before the game, Watkins reunited with a young fan named Emanii, whom she had previously met ahead of USC's game against Berkeley in February. After the game against Fresno State, the duo spent some time together. Emanii wore a JuJu Watkins jersey during the reunion.
The moment was captured in a post shared on USC's Instagram page, with the caption:
"Back in February, JuJu met a young fan named Emanii, who came to our game in Berkeley rocking a JuJu jersey and a matching bun. Today, the two were reunited and Emanii got to spend some time with our team before and after the game."
Fans were thrilled with the reunion and did not hesitate to share their opinions in the comments section, with most noting the duo's similar bun hairstyle:
"How cool to have that little girl there, your face on her shirt and she's rocking your bun. Her heart must have been full before that game," one fan said.
"The JuJu bun is cuteness overload! I love this for her," another fan said.
"Emanii gonna drop buckets on the class of 2035," one fan added.
"The coolest duo," one fan wrote.
"Remember this she gonna be a baller when she older," another fan said.
"Now why am I crying?" one fan added.
"I remember her from the Cal Game! Awwww," another fan wrote.
