Cooper Flagg Stats Tonight: How did the Duke star fare vs Louisville (Dec. 8)

Cooper Flagg had another remarkable performance on Sunday, leading the No. 9-ranked Duke Blue Devils to a 76-65 win over the Louisville Cardinals in a college basketball game at the KFC Yum! Center at Louisville.

Flagg carried the team on his shoulders before fouling out late in the second half, tallying a double-double of 20 points, 12 rebounds, one assist, two steals and a block.

The five-star freshman shot 8 of 17 from the field, including 1 of 3 from the 3-point range, and was perfect from the free-throw line, making all of his three attempts.

The 6-foot-9 guard didn't disappoint in his ACC debut, scoring 13 of his 20 points in the second half, sparking Duke's second-half surge to earn its seventh win in nine games.

Flagg had a slow start, scoring seven points on two layups, a jumper and a free throw. He kept the Blue Devils in striking distance, lurking within four points of Louisville's halftime lead 37-33.

The 17-year-old guard picked up his 10th point on a triple that sliced the Cardinals' deficit to three 45-42. He made two more layups to keep Duke within striking distance at the halfway point of the second half.

Flagg scored his 16th point on a jumper with 4:27 remaining to conclude a 20-5 spurt that reversed the tide of the game, giving Duke a 70-60 advantage. He made four more points on two free throws and a jumper in the closing minutes of the encounter, preserving the Blue Devils' win over the Cardinals.

Blue Devils vs Cardinals Game Recap: Cooper Flagg saves Duke from Louisville's upset bid

Cooper Flagg starred once more for No. 9-ranked Duke, picking up his second-straight double-double to lead the Blue Devils to a come-from-behind win over Louisville.

Flagg provided the leadership the talent-laden Duke squad needed to pick up another awesome win in its ACC regular season opener. He bucked a slow start to help the Blue Devils extend their winning streak to three games following a heartbreaking loss to No. 1 seed Kansas two weeks ago.

Junior guard Tyrese Proctor scored 13 points while freshman Kon Knueppel added 12 and Sion James provided 11 on his second straight start since coach Jon Scheyer elected to start the Tulane transfer for Caleb Foster, who came off the bench to tally nine points.

Duke shot 45.2% from the field and limited Louisville to 37.3% shooting. The Blue Devils led all statistics, winning the rebounds (35-34), assists (13-10), steals (7-4) and blocks (3-1) departments.

Duke had seven turnovers and recorded 20 points on Louisville's 15 errors. The Blue Devils also ruled inside points (34-14) and fastbreak points (12-3).

The No. 9 team will return home to play Incarnate Word on Tuesday night.
