Duke vs. Kentucky Game Summary

The Duke Blue Devils struggled to shoot the 3-ball as they went just 4-of-23 from beyond the arc throughout the game. They did not move the ball around much and finished with just 12 assists on 28 made field goals. Duke used its size to attack the paint with 46 points. However, it was just not enough to eke out the victory.

The Blue Devils' defense was unable to slow down the Kentucky Wildcats' offense, especially in the second half. It also doesn’t help that two of the seven Blue Devils turnovers were committed by Flagg in the final minute of the game.

The Kentucky Wildcats shot the basketball well with a 40.3/40.0/70.8 shooting split as a team. They stayed aggressive on the glass and secured nine offensive rebounds, including a massive one by Otega Oweh on a missed free throw with seconds left in the game.
