"Fight on?": Carmelo Anthony and La La's son Kiyan Anthony dons USC Trojans jersey as part of official visit
Kiyan Anthony is arguably one of the most sought-after high school prospects in the Class of 2025.
Earlier today, the talented guard took to Instagram to share a few pictures from his official visit to the USC Trojans, who became the most recent college to throw their ring in the hat for his commitment by making an offer on July 17th.
Kiyan, who has emerged as the top prospect in New York per 247Sports, captioned his Instagram post, "Fight on?", honoring the university's fight song.
He adorned the Trojans' iconic white and red jerseys on his official visit to USC, sporting the No. 3. The Long Island Lutheran guard looked sharp in his photos as he handled the basketball with relative ease.
It is clear that his popular parents, Carmelo Anthony and La La Anthony, also accompanied Kiyan to USC, as they also featured in his photoshoot. Carmelo, who established himself as a New York Knicks legend, wore a New York Yankees hoodie for the visit, while his ex-wife and Kiyan's mother, La La, wore a simple black top and denim jeans.
Will Kiyan Anthony join USC?
Ranked the 34th prospect in the country per 247Sports, Kiyan has received offers from several colleges. The caption for his Trojans photoshoot teased his intentions to join USC, which features on his list out of the 21 programs that made offers to him in the last two years.
Kiyan's list of six likely landing spots includes Ohio State, Florida State, Auburn, Rutgers, USC, and his father's alma mater, Syracuse. The opportunity to build the Anthony family's legacy in college basketball further may make Syracuse the top destination for Kiyan, but nothing is set in stone as yet.
Among his list of six, Kiyan made his first official visit to FSU last fall, and will make an official visit to Rutgers on October 4th. He is yet to make official visits to Auburn and Ohio State, which could be detrimental to his decision.
Kiyan admitted his parents have left his decision purely to his better judgement, and each college in his list of six will look to put in their best efforts to land one of the most highly-rated shooting guard prospects in the Class of 2025.
