UConn Huskies target Addison Bjorn's photodump playing for JuJu Watkins elicits reactions from Olyviah Edwards & others
Addison Bjorn, the No. 9-ranked prospect in the 2026 class by 247Sports, recently played for Team JuJu in the Overtime Select Army National Guard game.
On Monday, she shared pictures with her teammates and fellow 2026 prospects. It included No. 1-ranked Kate Harpring, No. 4-ranked Oliviyah Edwards and No. 24-ranked Jenica Lewis.

The players commented on the post, showing affection and support for Bjorn.

The showcase featured Team JuJu, coached by USCâs JuJu Watkins, against Team Flauâjae, coached by LSUâs Flauâjae Johnson. Team JuJu secured a 3-1 series victory in the five-on-five event.
Bjorn, who is being pursued by UConn, shared her support for Edwards, Team JuJu's assistant coach. Edwards played for Team Flauâjae last year.
The game had a lot of action on and off the court. Team Flauâjae attempted a late rally but fell short. Pregame issues added to the intensity, as several Team JuJu players were stuck in an elevator. Tensions also rose on the sidelines with Johnson arguing with referees, and both coaches exchanging taunts throughout the series.
Addison Bjorn joins top talents at USA U19 trials
Addison Bjorn was included in the USA Basketball U19 trials roster. The trials will be held from June 17-21 at Colorado Springs. The final team will head to Brno, Czechia, for the 2025 FIBA U19 Womenâs World Cup from July 12-20.
Bjorn will join elite players such as top 2025 prospects Sienna Betts, Aaliyah Chavez, Jerzy Robinson, Hailee Swain and ZaKiyah Johnson, among others. With top recruits on board, Team USA aims for a fourth consecutive U19 title.
The 6-foot-2 shooting guard has won gold medals at the 2023 U16 Americas Championship and the 2024 U17 World Cup. Bjorn averaged 9.1 points, 6.7 rebounds and 2.7 assists per game in the U17 World Cup. Among her standout performances was a double-double against Japan.
