Haley Cavinder comments on hate trains and negativity on social media

With their return to basketball and having public relationships, Hanna and Haley Cavinder have faced negativity online. Haley addressed the issue in January, revealing that going public with Jake Ferguson had drawn hate online.

More recently, Hanna Cavinder has been on the receiving end of negativity after her boyfriend, Georgia quarterback Carson Beck's disappointing performances.

Haley spoke about how she navigates the spotlight in an interview with USA Today.

“I think I’ve learned over the years, the more eyes on you, the more people aren’t going to like you,” Haley Cavinder said. “The more you get wrapped up in the negative, it can be a very long dark tunnel you go down.
"And I just think that who you look to for advice and approval should be people that know you best, and who you count on and talk to on a daily basis. The more eyes, the more opinions, and you just got to take everything with a grain of salt nowadays.”

They Cavinder twins will return to action when the Hurricanes take on Jacksonville on Nov. 12.
