Hidalgo failed to score in the third but Notre Dame held on to a 53-48 advantage going into the payoff period. She'll add up to her rebounding and assists stats with a dime to Olivia Miles, who scored on a triple that handed the Fighting Irish a 47-40 edge.
The guard would score six points in the fourth on two layups and two free throws but her team couldn't withstand a last-ditch Longhorns' fightback which forced an overtime at 68 apiece. Hidalgo picked up five more points in overtime, sparking a 12-0 surge that gave Notre Dame a 10-point win.
