Heisman winner Travis Hunter stuns hundreds in the crowd with unreal athleticism after pulling off multiple exhilarating dunks at Colorado game
Heisman Trophy winner Travis Hunter displayed his remarkable athletic ability on Saturday, pulling off several awe-inspiring dunks during warmups before the Colorado Buffaloes' game against the Bellarmine Knights. The football star sent the fans inside CU Events Center into a frenzy when he showed his incredible hops before tipoff.
Donning a No. 12 Buffaloes basketball jersey and a white headband, Hunter lined up near the halfcourt line for his dunk exhibition. For one of his dunks, Hunter tossed the ball ahead of the free-throw line, sprinted toward the lob and caught it at the apex of its bounce before finishing with a powerful right-handed slam that rocked the rim.
Hunter didn’t stop there. He showed off his vertical ability, taking off past the free-throw line before unleashing a difficult between-the-legs dunk. He effortlessly switched the ball from his right hand to his left mid-flight before executing the powerful finish.
Shedeur Sanders also joined Hunter in thrilling the crowd. The Colorado Buffaloes quarterback threw an alley-oop pass off the backboard to Hunter, who caught the ball with his right hand before slamming it home.
The Colorado Buffaloes stormed to victory with their football stars in attendance, recording a 79-55 win over Bellarmine. Assane Diop starred for the Buffaloes, who preserved their unbeaten record at home. He led all Colorado scorers with 15 points, shooting 7-for-11 from the field. RJ Smith and Julian Hammond III also contributed, adding 11 and 10 points, respectively.

The Colorado Buffaloes recognized Travis Hunter on Saturday for winning the 2024 Heisman Trophy. Hunter earned 2,231 points in the voting after a dazzling season showcasing his exceptional two-way play. On offense, he caught 92 passes for 1,152 yards and 14 touchdowns and added a rushing score.
What set Travis Hunter apart from other Heisman contenders was his defensive dominance. This season, he recorded 32 tackles, broke up 11 passes, and intercepted four throws. Hunter also forced a key fumble that helped Colorado secure an overtime win against the Baylor Bears.
