“How much LeBron paying you” “Draymond be spitting”: Fans conflicted over Draymond Green’s comments on Bronny James’ NBA potential

Even a month before the 2024 NBA draft, questions regarding the ultimate ceiling and caliber loom heavy on Bronny James. However, Draymond Green believes that LeBron James' son possesses "more than enough attributes and tools" to fit him right into an NBA roster.

On The Draymond Green Show, the Golden State Warriors' defensive anchor claimed that James' game has all the necessary elements to become at least a reliable backup point guard at the moment. The veteran's confidence sparks from Bronny's knack for defense, high basketball IQ and ability to let it fly from range.

Green also bashed the increasing criticism around Bronny by questioning the immediate caliber of potential top 10 picks in the drafts. However, fans on X, despite Green's substantial remarks, have contradictory thoughts on the 4-time NBA champion's projection.

"How much LeBron paying you for this @Money23Green," a fan commented.
"Get off LeBrons payroll for chrissakes," another fan radiated a similar sentiment.
"This guys love for LeBron is generational," a follower sarcastically highlighted Green's friendship with LeBron James.

On the other hand, few fans agreed with Draymond's assessment of Bronny.

"Draymond be spitting," a fan endorsed Green's evaluation.
"Draymond talking sense as per usual," a fan commented.
"Backup guard is realistic," another fan backed Green.

Bronny James aims to be a complete player

Bronny James displayed an enhanced version of himself in the combine. He enters the draft with heightened expectations of living up to his father's legacy. However, the defensive guard has his eyes set on becoming a complete all-around player rather than a superstar.

When asked about the players he aspired to play like, James mentioned Jrue Holiday, Davion Mitchell and Derrick White.

The 6-foot-1 guard is already making strides to separate himself from his questionable USC stint. After shocking the world with his 40.5-inch vertical in the agility drill, Bronny sank 19 of his 25 threes in the shooting drill (76.0%). Moreover, after getting the feel of the court in his first scrimmage, he posted a game-high 13 points behind 4-10 shooting, all while displaying his pesky perimeter defense.
