"I'm done fr": No. 1 recruit AJ Dybantsa shows off hooping prowess with perfect Michael Jordan-esque slam dunk
AJ Dybantsa showed a glimpse of why he is ranked the No. 1 high school prospect in the Class of 2025. On Saturday, the 17-year-old posted an Instagram story of him landing an athletic slam dunk, which resembled the great Michael Jordan.
"Aiii I'm done fr fr," Dybantsa wrote in the story, along with some laughing emojis.
Dybantsa, who plays for the Utah Prep Academy, found the opportunity to show his skills during a practice session. The 6-foot-9 small forward hit a perfect 360 while moving the ball under his hips and landing a one-handed slam dunk with his right hand.
Following the dunk, Dybantsa proceeded to walk off the court nonchalantly, while one of his teammates was left shellshocked by his effort.

AJ Dybantsa set to make more official visits soon
Dybantsa showed belief in his abilities by reclassifying from the Class of 2026 to the Class of 2025, becoming the top prospect in the class, per 247Sports. Thus, it's only fitting that Dybantsa has drawn interest from a majority of colleges across the country.
Last month, he narrowed his list down to seven colleges, which feature the Alabama Crimson Tide, Auburn Tigers, Baylor Bears, Brigham Young Cougars, Kansas Jayhawks, Kansas State Wildcats and North Carolina Tar Heels.
Out of these seven teams, Dybantsa has made official visits to four of them. Before narrowing his list, he made an official visit to the Tigers in March, while visiting the Wildcats, the Jayhawks and the Tar Heels in the last three weeks.
Dybantsa will make an official visit to the Crimson Tide on Saturday and follow it up by visiting the Bears on Oct. 4 and the Young Cougars on Oct. 11 to wrap up that part of the process.
Following a strong freshman season in which he won the 2022-23 Gatorade Player of the Year, Dybantsa helped Team USA win gold in the FIBA U17 Basketball World Cup held in Turkey earlier this year. He averaged 14.1 points, 4.1 assists and 3.9 rebounds in seven games.
All eyes will be on Dybantsa's decision regarding his choice of college, which could only be a matter of weeks from now.
