"I'm doomed" — La La Anthony and son Kiyan Anthony hilariously lament over NYC being declared as the "worst city for dating"
La La Anthony leaked a part of her chat with Kiyan Anthony, joking about research around the worst U.S. city for dating. Starting off with one of her pictures, Anthony posted a reaction video of TikTok's NayTali (@nyc.nay.2.0). She followed up by posting a snippet of her chat with her son, where the two made fun of their dating lives.
"I'm doomed," La Laowrote to her son while sending an IG post about the research.
"me too," Kiyan replied with a few laughing emojis.
In a recent survey by FetishFinder, New York was found to be the city with the worst dating potential. The research analyzed the 20 largest cities in the USA on the basis of the annual divorce rate, population of singles, likelihood of marriage, density of individuals seeking relationships, quality of life and the cost of lifestyle.
New York only came on top in the "population of singles" category. Moreover, the city was found to have a relatively low number of singles seeking relationships, which played a huge part in FetishFinder's conclusion.
La La Anthony and Kiyan Anthony have got each other's back
Be it NIL deals, checking out a new restaurant, earning collaborations or simply marking appearances at an event, La La spearheads it all for Kiyan. The 17-year-old keeps his mother in touch with what is up-and-coming, hot and trending in the fashion world.
She reflected on that at the 14th Rookie Kids Fashion Show in Los Angeles on Sept. 26. She also shared that their mutual love for fashion has brought them closer than ever.
"We have continued bonding over fashion. He keeps me in the loop of what’s trending and stylish," La La said to ET.
Additionally, she revealed her fashion tips for Kiyan, who is also building a clothing brand, "One Way," alongside his professional basketball career.
"The best advice I give him about style is to always be himself. It’s OK to follow trends, but make sure you love what you are wearing. When you love your outfit, you feel good," La La said.
Kiyan founded One Way in early 2023 and has cultivated a huge following around his brand. He organizes pop-up shops and collaborative events throughout the year, which have been attended by the Orlando Magic's Cole Anthony, Los Angeles Clippers' PJ Tucker and his dad Carmelo Anthony.
