"I don't make the rules": Coach Prime and Pilar Sanders' daughter Shelomi trolls her brothers and sister in boastful IG post
Shelomi Sanders, the youngest child of Coach Prime, is her dad's favorite kid. She attended the Colorado vs. Baylor game on Tuesday with an interesting choice of clothing.
The Alabama A&M commit donned a white tee with a graphic of Coach Prime on the front and a list called 'Kid Rankings' on the back. Only Shelomi's name was featured under the 'Kid Rankings' list, meaning she's her dad's top pick.
Although Coach Prime clarified that Shelomi is not his favorite kid, she ignored his comment. She posted an Instagram story to playfully troll her siblings and half-siblings, Deion Sanders Jr., Shedeur, Shilo, and Deiondra.
"It's on the shirt I don't make the rules," the caption of the post read.
Shelomi has been making waves with her mom Pilar Sanders, with whom she shares several types of content. Her mom hypes her up in every progress she makes in her collegiate career.
Why did Coach Prime's daughter transfer from Colorado to Alabama A&M?
Shelomi Sanders announced in April her transfer from the Colorado Buffaloes to Alabama A&M. The decision brought a lot of attention to her and her dad as fans and critics wanted to know the reason behind her move.
When Deion Sanders was asked about her daughter's decision, he said (per DNVR Sports):
"It was stupid. You get a team before you enter the portal. That's what I would advise a kid. I know, 'Well, it's illegal.' C'mon, man. Everybody knows somebody that knows somebody that knows somebody. You kind of want them to do something, and she has been truly advised."
During an IG live video, Shelomi finally revealed why she decided to transfer to Alabama A&M, though she didn't delve much into the details.
“I don’t want to say anything too bad,” she said. “It just wasn’t good energy. It wasn’t good vibes. There wasn’t enough being poured into me as a player and young lady. If I didn’t leave when I did, I promise you I would’ve quit.” (1:31)
Shelomi will gear up to play for the Lady Bulldogs team under Dawn Thornton, who was hired as the new coach of the squad in 2024.
