"Imagine when I get to college": Carmelo Anthony's son Kiyan Anthony gets overwhelmed after meeting fans

Being the best player in New York, Kiyan Anthony has one of the largest fan followings in the high school circuit. The fan base is also highlighted in the pop-ups for his brand 'One Way,' which is flooded with fans from all over the nation. A similar instance occurred when the 17-year-old visited Culture Kings USA while shooting for a new show with Overtime.

As Kiyan went through some caps and vintage T-shirts, people started noticing the 6-foot-4 guard. It not only led to Anthony clicking pictures with his fans but also witnessing the immense love and support he has had in his basketball journey.

"We were going shopping and people started recognizing me," Anthony said in Overtime's snippet. "I'm only in high school; like, imagine when I get to college, it's only going to get bigger."

It was not the only moment highlighting Kiyan Anthony's celebrity-like stature. The combo guard took the Culture Kings' famous 10-free throw challenge to win a pair of sneakers. The Long Island Lutheran made the first half of his shots with ease.

However, when he took a breather and looked around, he briefly felt the jitters after noticing everybody's gaze on him. Nevertheless, Anthony composed himself and made all his shots. The full episode of Anthony's new show will be released on Saturday.

Syracuse Orange is the frontrunner to land Kiyan Anthony

Anthony’s list of college finalists includes USC Trojans, Ohio State Buckeyes, Florida State, Syracuse Orange, Rutgers and Auburn. He narrowed his list down to Tigers, Cuse and USC earlier this month.

The guard is navigating official visits and finding the best fit for his basketball career. However, due to his connection to Carmelo Anthony and a series of events in his recruiting journey, Syracuse Orange is the favorite to land Kiyan Anthony.

The youngster has visited Syracuse multiple times and also hosted its coaching staff for an open court last month. The increased engagement with Orangemen staff comes when Anthony is yet to make at least one visit to all his preferred programs.

Kiyan Anthony will reveal his final decision near the beginning of his final high school year.
