It’s reunion time for former Iowa Hawkeyes stars Caitlin Clark and Kate Martin. The two were spotted together in Las Vegas, captured in a photo by their former coach, Lisa Bluder.
The picture, posted on Instagram, also featured Aces athlete Megan Gustafson and Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino's President and General Manager, Cami Christensen. Bluder captioned the post:
"Thank you, Cami for hosting us at the Westgate casino and resort!"
Clark and Martin played four years together at Iowa. The Indiana Fever drafted Caitlin, while the Las Vegas Aces picked up Kate.
Both teams will face off in a highly anticipated primetime matchup on Tuesday. Originally set for the Aces' Michelob ULTRA Arena, the game has been moved to the larger T-Mobile Arena due to record-breaking ticket sales. The new venue expands the seating capacity from 12,000 to 18,000.

Caitlin Clark is all praises for Kate Martin
It’s that time again when Caitlin Clark and Kate Martin face each other on the court one more time in the WNBA. Clark, now an Indiana Fever favorite, and Martin, shining with the Las Vegas Aces, have carried their friendship and competitive spirit into their professional careers.
Before their rematch on Tuesday, Clark had high praise for Martin, saying:
"From a basketball standpoint, at times she could get a little overlooked. But she could do some amazing things − she can do some things I couldn’t do! Her mid-post game is really good, she has a nice little fadeaway, she has a high basketball IQ.”
The two have an in-depth understanding of each other’s game having spent their college career playing for the Hawkeyes. However, despite competitors in the big league, their bond remains strong. Clark and Martin regularly critique each other’s performances, providing constructive feedback to help each other improve.
The Las Vegas Aces won the last game against the Indiana Fever 99-80. Clark, the women's college basketball player of the year, will look to change the scenery against Kate Martin's team.
