Carmelo Anthony's ex-wife La La posted a video of their son Kiyan showing off his dance moves in Japan. The clip revealed the fun-loving side of Kiyan, who is set to begin his collegiate career next season.
La La, an actress and producer, laughed at Kiyan's dance moves as she posted the clip on her Instagram Story.
Kiyan went to Long Island Lutheran High School as a junior from Christ the King Regional High School and hopes to follow in his father's footsteps and forge a career in the NBA.
One of the standout performers in high school basketball, Kiyan has shortlisted six programs, as shared by him on Thursday via X. He has the Auburn Tigers, Ohio State Buckeyes, Rutgers Scarlet Knights, Syracuse Orange, Florida State and USC Trojans on his list.

Kiyan Anthony is a four-star recruit in the class of 2025. On3 has him going to Syracuse with an 89.4% probability.
Kiyan visited Syracuse, which his father led to the 2003 NCAA title, in October 2023. He was also spotted with the program's coach, Jim Boeheim.
"Carry the torch?🍊 #officialvisit," he wrote in the caption.
Kiyan told On3 that he would take time to make a decision. He also denied that his father was putting pressure on him to join Syracuse.
"It's no pressure going there," said Kiyan Anthony. "I know wherever I go, I'm just gonna go there and play my game. But my dad always tells me, 'Don't feel like you got to go to Syracuse because I went there. Really look into these colleges and choose where you want to go'. So, that's what I'm really looking forward to doing."

After a great performance in the EYBL's Peach Jam Circuit, Kiyan took a break to visit Japan during the offseason with his mother and father. The photos of them hanging out in the streets of Tokyo were posted by La La on Instagram.
She captioned the post in Japanese.
"東京には私の心がある" "Tokyo has my heart" (translated).
Kiyan averaged 19.6 ppg and 4.6 rpg in the 15 games he played at the Peach Jam. His best performance came against the Team Final where he scored 29 points and added six rebounds and four steals.
