“It feels good. You know, definitely -- winning feels good,” Nick Gordon said. “So as long as we can try to keep that going and try to win some ball games, win some series, it'll definitely feel even better.”
Haley and Hanna Cavinder's ceremonial first pitch kick-started the winning air for Miami.
Haley and Hanna Cavinder will return to the Miami Hurricanes for another season of college basketball
The Cavinder twins have decided to return to the hardwood floor after taking a break for a year as they wanted to focus on building their social media career. However, it seems like the sisters cannot stay away from playing the sport and hence, they announced that they will return for their fifth and final year.
Haley and Hanna Cavinder helped the Miami Hurricanes reach its first-ever Elite Eight appearance in 2023. This feat came after only playing for Miami for a year after spending three years at Fresno State.
Being dubbed as the "NIL queen," they are some of the biggest beneficiaries of the NIL policy. They shot to fame during the pandemic, posting TikTok videos and social media trend videos.
During the time they were away from college basketball, they intended to explore opportunities presented by WWE to them. But that did not come to fruition, instead leading Haley Cavinder to announce her return to TCU Horned Frogs in November 2023.
However, both of them announced their transfer to Miami in April with special messages.
Haley averaged 12.2 points and 4.9 rebounds per game, while Hanna Cavinder averaged 3.8 points per game in a reserve role in her first season at Miami.
