IN PHOTOS: Miami hoopers Hanna and Haley Cavinder share pregame snap in support of Hurricanes in Week 2 game vs. Florida A&M
Hanna and Haley Cavinder posted a story to show their support for the Miami Hurricanes football team. In a story shared by the twins on their joint Instagram account, they took a picture of themselves ahead of the Hurricanes' game against the Florida A&M Rattlers.
The caption read:
"GO CANES" with a heart emoji.
In the picture, Haley is seen wearing a white top, while Hanna chose a black top. In the next story, they also shared a photo featuring a poster used by Canes fans, which read:
"It's all about the U."
Last weekend, Miami began its latest football campaign in style, thrashing the Florida Gators 41-17. The Rattlers are also unbeaten coming into Saturday's contest, having won their first two games to build early momentum.
Hanna and Haley Cavinder to return to the Miami Hurricanes for the 2024-25 season
Haley and Hanna played major roles in helping Miami reach the Elite Eight during the 2022-23 season — the program's best finish. That season, Haley Cavinder averaged 12.2 points, 4.9 rebounds and 2.4 assists, while Hanna averaged 3.8 points and 1.3 rebounds.
The twins stepped away from basketball following that season and announced their intentions to pursue WWE careers. The duo appeared on the June 6th episode of NXT and posed for pictures with fans before deciding to make their Miami return.
In November 2023, Haley decided to return and signed with the TCU Horned Frogs. However, when Hanna decided to return to basketball in April this year, Haley revoked her commitment to TCU, opting to join forces with her sister at Miami for their last season of college basketball.
The Cavinders recently shared a sneak peek into their preparations for the upcoming season on their social media. Despite being away from competitive basketball for a year, they looked sharp in their drills.
The Twins are among the most popular players on social media, amassing over 5 million followers across all platforms. Most of their following comes from TikTok, with over 4.5 million followers.
