IN PICS: Miami’s Cavinder twins share their daily diet as D1 college athletes ahead of 2024-25 season

After multiple Instagram collaborations with Hustle Beauty in the past week, the Cavinder twins treated fans with insights on inner strength. In the photo carousel posted on October 18, Hanna and Haley shared their entire day of food intake as Division I athletes.

The post mentioned their day begins with a refreshing amino acid drink and a pre-practice oatmeal breakfast (soaked overnight), paired with protein coffee. A sourdough snack with cow cheese and avocado is followed by shredded beef, beans and rice for lunch.

To fuel up before practice, they prefer rice cakes and a hydration drink before wrapping things up with protein nachos and a frozen treat.

"FDOE as a college athlete ☕️🥣🥑🥦🍫🌮🍦 here’s your reminder that food is fuel 🫶🏼🫶🏼 save this for simple/realistic meal ideas during a busy weekday!!" the post began.

Hanna and Haley Cavinder's journey to understand fitness and food began when they went through a rough path in their lives, both physically and mentally. They talked about previously calculating their success through the measuring scale and jeopardizing the intake of daily vitals.

Nevertheless, as they dived into the world of nutrition, they experienced an upward climb in performance, moods, mental clarity, energy and overall health. The sisters shared their story in an Instagram post from Aug. 16, requesting fans to learn more about macros and nutrition.

2024-25 season will be Cavinder twins' last college season

The Cavinder twins exhaust their college eligibility at the end of next season. It was supposedly one of the main reasons behind their Miami Hurricanes’ comeback this summer, following their retirement at the end of 2022-23 season. Haley was initially linked to a TCU move before Hanna announced her Miami return.

The twins recently shared their excitement at beginning the last leg of their college journey.

“Hanna and I played the game forever together. I've never played a game without her,” Cavinder shared at the ACC Tipoff. “But at the end of the day, I'm really excited to be back with her, with Coach TC as our leader and her new staff to play our last season together at Miami."

Haley, former Mountain West Player of the Year (2021), averaged 12.2 points and 4.9 rebounds while making 40% of her 3-point shots in her previous season. Hanna is averaging 12.4 ppg, 4.9 rpg and 2.5 apg throughout her college tenure.
