Gyamfi donned a holiday-themed black-and-red sweater along with a pair of jeans, putting on her best smile in a picture with her sister. Maya also uploaded a picture of Gyamfi pulling off a hilarious expression after opening her Christmas present, which was a copy of "Good Lookin' Cookin: A Lifetime of Family, Friends and Food," a New York Times Bestseller cookbook.

Soon after Maya uploaded the post, Gyamfi flocked to the comments section to leave a kind message for her sister, summing up her excitement for the holiday season with two simple words.

Jada Gyamfi expressed her joy for the holidays through a comment on her sister Maya's post.

"Merry time," Gyamfi wrote.

Gyamfi has been a common feature on her sister's Instagram. Last year, Maya shared a similar post for Christmas at their family home, which included a few snaps of the Iowa star.

Jada Gyamfi a favorite among her teammates at Iowa

Since joining the Hawkeyes in 2022, Jada Gyamfi has struggled for game time following a freshman year in which she suffered a concussion during a fall practice session and an ankle injury.

However, she has managed to make lasting friendships with some of her teammates over the years, with Caitlin Clark, Kate Martin and Gabbie Marshall among her closest friends.

The former Hawkeyes' backcourt trio have featured on Gyamfi's podcast, "Fresh Tawk" on multiple occasions, most recently on the Nov. 5 episode where they shared a special reunion. Some of her current teammates, namely Callie Levin, Kylie Feuerbach and Taylor Stremlow, have also appeared in recent episodes of the podcast.

This season is no different for Jada Gyamfi in terms of game time. She has appeared in just five of the Hawkeyes' 12 games, averaging 2.0 points and 0.4 rebounds in 4.8 minutes.

The Hawkeyes have made a strong start to the season, winning 10 of their opening 12 games. They fell two places to 24th in the latest update of the AP Top 25, and will look to move up the order in the weeks to come.

Iowa's next game will see it face Purdue in its Big Ten opener, which will take place on Sunday at 3 p.m. ET.
