Caroline Ducharme's health can affect the UConn Huskies

In her freshman season, Ducharme displayed confidence like no other and as she utilized her 6-foot-2 frame. Playing 21.1 minutes per game, she avearged 9.8 points, 3.2 rebounds and 1.3 assist on 45.5% shooting.

However, Ducharme’s initial two years in the college circuit came with concussion complications, stopping her from producing better numbers.

Moreover, she only appeared in four games in the 2023-24 season before opting for the redshirt. Moreover, she didn't look like the SLAM High School All-American, Massachusetts Gatorade Player of the Year and the top-5 player in her class like she was when entering UConn.

Health remains a constant concern around Caroline Ducharme. Sure, she can bring in 10-15 games where she scores in double digits, but her confidence on the floor, reliability as a scorer and ability to take up tough defensive matchups will help the Huskies deeper in the season.
