Kim Mulkey reacts as $250 million worth Drake sends special gifts for LSU players

LSU coach Kim Mulkey and her team have received a special gift from Drake, whose net worth sits at $250 million (according to Celebrity Net Worth), in the form of Nike NOCTA tracksuits. Mulkey revealed the news to her team before ushering them into the locker room to see their fits on Wednesday.

"Drake and Nike sent y'all some good stuff. Drake is a rapper, right, Flau'jae (Johnson)?" Mulkey said. "Since we have a Canadian here (Shayeann Day-Wilson), we'll let you lead us to see what we got."

Kim Mulkey and the LSU Tigers defend undefeated start as they take on Stanford

Kim Mulkey and her fifth-ranked LSU Tigers (9-0) are gearing up for their first nationally televised game of the season against the Stanford Cardinal (7-1) on Thursday night in Baton Rouge as part of the SEC/ACC Challenge.

It marks the third meeting between the two teams, with the most notable showdown happening in the 2006 NCAA Elite Eight that saw LSU run to victory.

Fast forward to the present, and LSU has been unstoppable this season. The Tigers boast a flawless record, showcasing their dominance with a series of impressive wins, bolstered by the likes of Flau'jae Johnson and Aneesah Morrow.

On Sunday, LSU posted a staggering 131-44 victory over NC Central, and before that, they romped to a commanding 82-65 win over No. 20 NC State.

With their latest win over NC Central, Kim Mulkey became the fastest basketball coach in LSU history, male or female, to reach 100 wins.

“Throughout my career, I’ve been blessed to coach players who believe in our system and believe in what we do,” LSU's Kim Mulkey said after the game. “Coming to LSU is not any different than when I was at Baylor for 20-plus years. The kids have to believe in you, they have to let you coach them and all of those wins belong to them.”

On the other side of the court, Stanford reached the Sweet Sixteen last season and continues to demonstrate its prowess. Players like Nunu Agara, who's averaging 17.5 points and 6.3 rebounds per game, have been instrumental to their success.

Mulkey and the Tigers will take on Grambling next on Sunday.
