Kim Mulkey’s son Kramer Robertson leaves a nostalgic comment under Flau’jae Johnson’s energetic snaps from LSU vs. Charleston So game

Coach Kim Mulkey's son Kramer Robertson reminisced about a high school memory of Flau'jae Johnson through a comment on her latest post. Coach Mulkey and the LSU women’s basketball team are closing in on a huge milestone. They are projected to sign the No. 1 recruiting class for 2025 by the end of the early signing period.

This accomplishment marks the second time in three years that LSU has snagged the top spot in recruiting. Such a class is set to further fortify the program’s future for Mulkey.

However, embracing Flau’jae Johnson's status as LSU’s go-to scorer was something her coach wasn’t initially sold on. Mulkey hesitated to endorse Johnson’s scoring-heavy role.

Johnson shared her success with fans by posting a series of photos on November 14, 2024. She captioned:

"The bag only gets bigger from here!"

After her on-court performance, Flau’jae Johnson is preparing to take the leadership

In her recent game against Charleston Southern, Flau’jae Johnson had 18 points, taking her total tally in college basketball to 1,000 points. Playing in her No. 4 jersey, she topped off her stat line with 10 rebounds and scored her first double of the season.

However, Johnson wasn’t the only one stepping up on the court that night. Unlike in her two prior games—where she had been on fire, racking up 49 points and taking the lead in Southeastern Conference scoring—this time, her teammates shined. Both Mikaylah Williams, with 25 points, and Aneesah Morrow outscored Johnson.

As Johnson enters her third season at LSU, she’s positioned to fill the leadership void left by Angel Reese.

Lady Tigers' upcoming game against Murray State is set for Friday, November 15. As Johnson looks to cement her legacy at LSU, she’s driven by her ambition to guide her team to victory, keeping LSU’s reputation for excellence alive.
