Kim Mulkey’s son Kramer Robertson was in fits of laughter after watching his mother's hilarious impersonation by comedian Mollie Merkel. Mulkey, the head of the LSU women's basketball team, is known for her intense sideline demeanor, which Merkel captured perfectly.
Merkel shared a handful of videos on her social media of her making an uncanny impression of the four-time national champion coach. Her video that reads, "LSU Coach Kim Mulkey goes to beach" went viral and even Mulkey's son could not hold back his laughter.
Robertson reposted the video on his Instagram story with a caption:
"Hahahahaha."
In the clip, Mollie Merkel dresses up as Kim and is seen walking on the beach.
"I have a sign in my office that says 'Put on your big girl pan**s and deal with it," Merkel says.
In the next frame, she is throwing a basketball and jumping in the water.
"Who wants to play ball? ... I used to go to the beach with Pat Summit. These are my beach boots. Angel Reese tried to borrow it from me, I say 'Girl, win another national championship, maybe'... Caitlin Clark, I don't get the hype..." Merkel says in the video.

During an interview with Ashley Roberts on 'Its Just Different,' the Tigers coach shared some poignant words of wisdom for parents to guide their kids through their sports journey.
"I did have two kids play Division I athletics. Coach my daughter my son played at LSU baseball. I would say to them enjoy the heck out of children," Mulkey said. "Be a great cheerleader, but don't embarrass them. Remember that these are memories you're making with your children."
