"Kiyan is so tuff": College hoops fans buzz as latest Kiyan Anthony hype video summarizes his summer
Kiyan Anthony is on an impressive run this summer after he exhibited his skills at the circuit basketball campaign. The incoming senior at Long Island Lutheran High School was named New York's No. 1 recruit because of this display.
On Friday, Made Hoops posted a highlights reel on Instagram of Kiyan Anthony's best moments from this summer:

Fans were impressed with Kiyan Anthony's performances and shared their thoughts in the comments section:

Kiyan Anthony finished with 42 points at the NBA Top 100 Camp and held his ground during the Slam Summer Classic last week against the 2025 class' top recruits like AJ Dybantsa and Caleb Wilson.
As a senior in high school, Anthony has an important college decision to make. He is on track to make his final decision in the coming months, with visits scheduled to the schools on his top six list, which includes Rutgers, Syracuse, Auburn, USC, Florida State and Ohio State.
There is much expectation on Antony to follow his father, Carmelo Anthony's footsteps in playing for the Syracuse Orange. The guard spoke about his visit to the school during an interview with Brandon "Scoop B" Robinson:
"It was definitely crazy. Everything with my dad, everything named after him out everything like that. So looking forward to taking a second visit and then nobody knows, I might could go there."
Anthony also has a visit scheduled to USC from Sept. 14-16.
Kiyan Anthony takes inspiration from Bronny James for his professional career
After one season with the USC Trojans, Bronny James was drafted into the NBA this June. He was selected with the No. 55 overall pick by the Los Angeles Lakers. Bronny's rise after his summer of health struggles seems to have inspired Kiyan Anthony:
"It's definitely really cool," Anthony said. "It just shows that anybody could do it. I’m coming up next, and I could do it. Definitely happy for him and definitely congratulations to him."
The guard will only be eligible for the 2026 NBA draft, but his father, Carmelo Anthony, once shared that he does not want his son to be a one-and-done player. With all this, Kiyan has a few more years left before he can make it to the league, but fans are already excited about his potential in the future.
