LeBron James drops 5 words for USC's JuJu Watkins’ latest Nike collaboration
The LA Lakers icon LeBron James could not stop himself from commenting on the USC Trojans star JuJu Watkins' latest Instagram post in which she collaborated with Nike to promote a short line.
The standout college hooper shared an Instagram post in which she donned the LeBron Trianer 1s and was seen training hard. The snaps instantly went viral, with James resharing it on his Instagram story and writing a five-word message.
"Gotta keep you right Ju!!"
It was announced on Wednesday that JuJu Watkins signed a multiyear contract extension with Nike. The discussion ended on Tuesday, with the members of Klutch Sports leading the negotiation. She initially signed with Nike in October 2022 alongside Caitlin Clark, Bronny James, DJ Wagner and Haley Jones.
Watkins and the UConn star Paige Bueckers are some of the most recognizable faces in the women's college basketball world. She started 34 games as a freshman and averaged 27.1 points, 7.3 rebounds and 3.3 assists per game.

JuJu Watkins is predicted to be the next big thing in women's college basketball, as she showed her might as a freshman by setting a record for scoring the highest points (920) in NCAA Division I.
She talked about her mindset entering another year of college basketball in an interview with Overtime Select. JuJu said:
"I think for me, the priority is just winning and I'm just trying to be a better player, I guess. So that's my priority, but other things come with it and that's cool."
She also spoke about her experience dealing with newfound fame and success off the hardwood floor.
"It wasn't really overnight for me. I think I expected a lot out of myself. I saw the success from working and started to see my hard work pay off," JuJu said. "So I was kinda prepared for it in a way ... it's not that crazy, but sometimes I have moments where it's like, 'Oh wow.'"
