Liam McNeeley stats tonight - How did UConn freshman fare vs New Hampshire (Nov. 9)

UConn freshman Liam McNeeley had a so-so night offensively but still delivered a double-double of 10 points and 11 rebounds, helping the Huskies pull away in the second half for a 92-53 win over New Hampshire on Saturday night.

McNeeley, who is coming off a solid 18-point, 10-rebound stat line in the Huskies' game against Sacred Heart, wasn't at his usual self in offense, making two of his six attempts from the field, including 1-of-3 from way downtown. However, the 6-foot-7 Richardson, Texas native made 5-of-6 shots from the free-throw line in 29 minutes.

He pulled down three offensive boards for UConn, who used a 57-29 second-half surge to bury the Wildcats and grab its second straight win in the 2024-25 college basketball season.

McNeeley scored his first points on two free throws with 8:15 left in the first half. He made a layup with 11 seconds left to give the Huskies a 35-24 advantage after 20 minutes.

Dan Hurley and his men continued its surge in the second half and buried New Hampshire to pick up its second win of the season.

McNeeley hit a 3-pointer and made three of his four free-throw attempts. He sat out with the rest of the starters with 4:48 remaining when the game was already decided.
