The John Calipari effect is already prevalent in Arkansas
It has been less than 4 months since John Calipari undertook the Arkansas Razorbacks program and the impact of his presence is already in full swing. Darius Acuff, the top-10 guard in the 2025 class, has declared his commitment to the Razorbacks, becoming the first five-star talent aligned with the program next season.
Darius Acuff was the second-best player in the Nike EYBL multi-state circuit, averaging 23.9 points and 3.6 assists. He also brings experience of playing for the national team in the FIBA U18 AmeriCup, where he clinched a gold medal while posting 17.8 points and 4.0 assists per game.
