"Man, what The Dream’s got, can’t be taught": Hoops fans react as NBA legend Hakeem Olajuwon imparts tips to 7'2" Ethan Taylor at NBPA Top 100 Camp

Some of the best high school basketball stars gathered in Rock Hill, South Carolina, for the NBPA Top 100 Camp, including 7-foot-2 center Ethan Taylor. Players received direct coaching from former NBA stars, such as John Wall and Josh Smith, on Thursday during the camp. However, Taylor got a personal lesson from a man considered one of the greats, Hakeem Olajuwon.

The two-time NBA champion, considered one of the greatest big men in the game's history, imparted some of his knowledge to the Class of 2026 center during the NBPA Top 100 Camp. "The Dream" also showed that despite his age, he still has it, making a few hook shots and floaters that he has been known for, sharing that technique with Ethan Taylor.

Several schools already after Ethan Taylor

Being a seven-footer will get players a lot of attention, especially in high school, and such is the case for Ethan Taylor. This can be seen in the number of offers the No. 47 overall from the Class of 2026 has already received.

So far, Taylor is entertaining offers from Baylor, Houston, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kansas State, Missouri, Missouri State, Oklahoma, Purdue, Tennessee, and Texas. He is not yet expected to make his decision, though.

Last season, he played backup for five-star center Chris Cenac Jr. and will probably get the chance to shine as Link Academy's go-to big man next season.
