“My future LA Spark,” “Would look great in Sky blue”: LA and Chicago fans bulldoze Olivia Miles’ post about Hannah Hidalgo
Notre Dame guard Olivia Miles was in a celebratory mood after the Fighting Irish defeated the USC Trojans 74-61 on Saturday in Los Angeles. Miles and Hannah Hidalgo shined in the game, combining for 44 points.
Hidalgo contributed 24 points, six rebounds, eight assists and five steals, while Miles, who returned from a knee injury in October, had 20 points, eight rebounds and seven assists.
Olivia Miles was full of praise for Hidalgo, calling her teammate a "menace" for her big game against USC. She shared her admiration for Hidalgo's performance on the court in a post on X (formerly Twitter), and fans shared their reactions.
"Hannah is a menace. i be laughing on the court sometimes bc what," she wrote.

Olivia Miles on fire for Notre Dame on return from season-ending ACL injury
Olivia Miles suffered an ACL injury which kept her out of the 2023-24 NCAAW season. However, she came roaring back this season and has averaged 18.6 points, 8.0 rebounds and 6.8 assists in her first five games. Projected as the fourth pick in next year's WNBA draft, Miles has shot 47.4% from 3-point distance.
Miles recorded 20 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists in Notre Dame's 105-61 dominant season-opening win against Mercyhurst. She followed that up with 17 points in a Fighting Irish victory over Purdue and 16 points against James Madison.
She recorded a double-double with 20 points and 11 rebounds in a 91-55 win against Lafayette.
In Notre Dame's game against the JuJu Watkins-led USC, Miles took control in the second half, where she scored 14 of her 20 points. She also showcased her 3-point shooting, hitting four of her five attempts from deep.
Olivia Miles, paired with Hidalgo's stellar play, helped the Fighting Irish come away with the huge win to improve their away record to 3-0.
The Fighting Irish will next travel to Texas where they will face No. 19 TCU Horned Frogs on Friday.
