Olivia Miles filled the stats sheet, tallying her fifth career triple-double and guiding No. 3-ranked Notre Dame to a 97-54 beatdown of Loyola Maryland on Sunday at the Purcell Pavilion in South Bend, Indiana.
The 5-foot-10 guard had 18 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists in 35 minutes for the Fighting Irish, who stormed to their sixth-straight win at home in the 2024 women's college basketball season and 10-2 overall.
Miles shot 6 of 11 from the field, including 4 of 6 from the 3-point line, and made 2 of 4 attempts from the free throw line. The senior playmaker, who also finished with one steal and one block, came up with one of the highlight plays of the day — a between-the-legs pass to Hannah Hidalgo.
Hidalgo followed that up with a steal and an over-the-shoulder assist to Liatu King to conclude the furious sequence for the Fighting Irish.
The triple-double boosted Miles' averages to 17.2 points, 6.5 rebounds and 6.7 assists per game. She is the only women's basketball player in the nation averaging 17 points, 6 rebounds and six assists a game, per the Associated Press.

Notre Dame clobbered Loyola Maryland 97-54 to stretch its winning streak to five games on Sunday. Hannah Hidalgo exploded for 33 points and her backcourt mate Olivia Miles posted a triple-double to hand the Fighting Irish their 10th win of the women's college basketball season.
Liatu King, the other member of Notre Dame's Big 3, finished with 18 points and 10 rebounds for her seventh double-double. The 6-1 Pittsburgh transfer shot 9 of 12 from the field and recorded two assists, two steals and two blocks.
Liza Karlen made up for the absence of Sonia Citron, tallying 15 points, seven rebounds, three assists, three steals and three blocks. Notre Dame coach Niele Ivey held out Citron and Kate Koval for precautionary measures per On3.
Notre Dame shot 54.1% from the field, including 50% from the 3-point line. The Fighting Irish, who led by as much as 46, dominated the stats battle, ruling the rebounds (49-29), assists (24-8), steals (14-3) and blocks (9-2).
Notre Dame will have a one-week break and troops back to action on Dec. 29 against Virginia in an ACC regular season game at the Purcell Pavilion.
