What does Allie Ziebell bring to UConn?

Ziebell will add depth to the 2024-25 roster while carrying the promise of extending her role as a playmaker in the future. In her freshman year, she might come off the bench, but the 5-foot-10 guard is a capable shooting threat, having made nearly 45% of her 3-pointers while playing for Neenah High.

She's the second player to don a Huskies jersey out of Wisconsin. KK Arnold was the first player to do so last season.

Due to the presence of enough gaurds in UConn's lineup, Ziebell will have to wait for a bigger role with the Huskies. So, expect constant improvement in Allie Ziebell's college career, as she's already labeled as a pure scorer.

She led her high school to a 24-6 record and second place in the WIAA Division I state championship. Ziebell has a good feel of the court and can put herself into her favorite spots on the floor. From there on, Ziebell has enough skills to get her shot up and versatility to score in multiple ways.
