Kim Mulkey and her coaching staff welcomed Grace Knox for her official visit on Monday. Knox, a four-star recruit in the 2025 pool, is ranked 13th in her class by On3 and 8th on ESPN's HoopGurlz top 100.

The 6-foot-2 wing uploaded a series of snippets from the visit on her Instagram handle, showcasing fun moments with Kim Mulkey, her parents, assistant coach Gary Redus, and other members of LSU’s staff.

Moreover, ZaKiyah Johnson and Divine Bourrage were also present in the vicinity. They are ranked higher than Grace Knox on both On3 and ESPN’s lists.

"Go 🐅’s ??? #officialvisit #lsutigers," Knox captioned the post.

Grace Knox is regarded as one of the best athletes in her class, which allows her to make a game-winning impact on both ends of the floor. She is mobile enough to defend multiple positions, can leap for long rebounds and has displayed a knack of dunking the ball with ease.

As a freshman for Spring Valley High, she averaged 13.9 points and 9.8 rebounds to spearhead the school to the NIAA 5A semifinals. After battling with injuries in her sophomore season, she averaged a double-double last year, racking up 17.2 ppg and 11.9 rpg in her junior year.

After LSU, Grace Knox set to make other visits

The LSU trip was a part of Knox’s series of official visits. The California native narrowed her offers to four programs in July, overlooking UCLA for the Texas Longhorns, Tennessee, LSU and USC.

With that, Knox is slated to travel significantly this summer. She had already planned a visit to Tennessee (October) and USC (September) during her announcement and has now added a mid-September visit to the Longhorns to her schedule.

While there are plenty of things players aim for in a program, Grace Knox’s biggest factor is the bond with the coaching staff and her overall growth as a player.

“Being able to bond with the coach that I’d want to play for and have passion with. The style of play is really important to me, ujust knowing that I can fit into the program and knowing that I can thrive and become my best self is really important. Location isn’t a big thing for me. I’m willing to go wherever in the country,” she said to On3 in July.

The athletic wing is aiming to reveal her decision in late November or early December.
