Shelomi Sanders stats tonight - How did Deion Sanders' daughter fare vs North Alabama? (Dec 17)

Shelomi Sanders and the Alabama A&M Bulldogs extended their winning streak to three games on Tuesday, beating the North Alabama Lions 80-77 at Flowers Hall. Three players scored in double figures for the Bulldogs, who improved their overall record to 6-3.

Alabama A&M pulled off the narrow win despite a scoreless performance from Sanders. She missed her lone field goal attempt against the Lions, a 3-point shot she tried with 1:23 remaining in the first quarter. Deion Sanders' daughter also finished the game without an assist, block and steal. She did grab one rebound in her short stint for the Bulldogs, who remained unbeaten on the road.

One problem for Shelomi Sanders is that she sees limited playing time under coach Dawn Thornton this season. She's averaging just 5.1 minutes per contest in her young Bulldogs career, and she saw action for only two minutes in the game against North Alabama. That was not a surprise, though, as Sanders averaged just 1.8 minutes per game with the Colorado Buffaloes last season.

Here are Sanders' stats from the game against the Lions:

Kalia Walker picks up scoring slack amid Shelomi Sanders' dud vs North Alabama

This was the fifth time this season that Sanders failed to score a single point for Alabama A&M. She also had scoreless outings in the games against Alabama, Eastern Michigan, UAB and Utah Valley. She is averaging 1.6 points, 0.4 assists and 0.3 rebounds per game this campaign.

Sanders' performance didn't affect the Bulldogs though, who held off a late rally from the Lions. Kalia Walker led Alabama A&M's attack, scoring a career-high 30 points. She shot 8-of-18 from the field, including 3-of-8 from beyond the arc. She made a living on the free throw line, knocking down 11-of-12 attempts at the charity stripe.

Darian Burgin also delivered for Alabama A&M, recording 15 points, four rebounds and two steals. She shot 6-of-9 from the floor and 3pof-5 from 3-point range. Mailyn Wilkerson provided the firepower off the bench, scoring 11 points on 4-of-9 shooting. Alisha Wilson also reached a career milestone, grabbing her 1,000th rebound in the win.

Meanwhile, Charity Gallegos and Emma Kate Tittle led the scoring for North Alabama, each producing 13 points. Sarang West and Alyssa Clutter added 10 points apiece for the Lions, who dropped to 4-5 with the loss.

Sanders and Co. face the Tulane Green Wave next at Devlin Fieldhouse on Friday.
