Haley Cavinder posted her second 30-point game of the season as the Hurricanes defeated the Quinnipiac Bobcats 83-74 in overtime in the Miami Thanksgiving Tournament Sunday. The guard posted 30 points, nine assists and six rebounds in a season-high 42 minutes.
However, Miami went through an offensive rut in the final quarter, allowing the Bobcats to outscore them 22-5. The game pivoted when Cavinder's clutch 3-pointer evened the score, sending the game into overtime. The guard dished two dimes in OT while scoring three points from the charity striped to help the Hurricanes clinch the game.
